YAI Career Day 2026

March 18, 2026

Last week we hosted the YAI Young Actuaries Career Day – a virtual, free-of-charge event aimed at helping aspiring actuaries take an active role in shaping their professional paths. The agenda included expert presentations, panel sessions, and networking opportunities, all focused on both career growth and personal development.

The event attracted 249 registrations from 46 countries. The thoughtful questions in the chat, during the Q&A rounds, and especially at the discussion tables throughout the interactive break really brought the event to life and helped create a dynamic and truly interactive experience.

In the first session of the day “Be Seen, Be Remembered: Branding & Networking in a Digital World”, Tomas Harzberger and Sarah Schadek-Keane talked about personal branding and translating your social media network into connections that matter. This slot was followed by an engaging interactive networking break with attendees and speakers.

The event was rounded off by a second session adressing the topic “Remote and Global Opportunities: How Location is Reshaping Careers Flexibility”. Here Filipe Bello, Natalia Kryvitska and Anna Pilartz gave practical tips for applying abroad and global opportunities were discussed.

We are grateful to our YAI ambassadors Vanessa Dietze and Joël Koné for moderating this event. We also thank our sponsoring partners, SCOR and Howden Re, without whom this day would not have been possible.

You couldn’t join live? No problem! All presentations are now available on actuview.
